IMPORTANT: 1:15 (minimum 5 children, maximum 15 children). We will offer you an alternative course if the course is fully booked, if the course does not open, or if, at any time during the camp, fewer than five children are enrolled until the end of the camp. JOINING INSTRUCTIONS

We send our joining instructions 48 hours before the first day of the camp (normally Saturdays by 5:00 pm). Please read and follow our instructions carefully, as they contain important information about our registration and dismissal procedures.

LUNCH

Children must bring their packed lunch, snacks and enough water for the day.

GROUPS

Children are organised into groups according to their age and level of knowledge. We do our best to accommodate siblings and friends within the same group when requested.

ABOUT THIS CAMP

 This face-to-face camp is designed for children to enjoy, have fun, and learn. Our face-to-face Engineering summer camps are small to give tutors and children more scope for interaction, dialogue, questions, and answers. We motivate children to develop their mathematical and scientific skills while having fun. We also stimulate children to be creative. We teach children to identify a problem and look for a solution. Sometimes, some children tend to give up easily. Therefore, we teach children that they need to try for alternative solutions to a given problem.

WHAT WE TEACH

Learn and consolidate fundamental mathematical principles and how mathematics also relates to real-life situations. We explore civil engineering, mechanical engineering, railway engineering, structural engineering and other fields within engineering and its application in our day-to-day lives. We also motivate children to develop problem-solving skills, teamwork and resilience.

DIFFERENTIATION

At Richer Education, we understand that ‘one size does not fit all ‘. Therefore, our tutors and mentors differentiate the content of our sessions. We ensure that all children, regardless of their level of knowledge, are engaged at the appropriate level and pace.
