Product Description

STEM is the acronym used for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.

STEM education is based on the idea of educating children in four specific subjects in an interdisciplinary and applied approach. Rather than teaching the four disciplines on a separate basis, STEM integrates children into a more cohesive learning paradigm based on real-world applications of the subjects.

The emphasis is on fun, yet we inspire learning about concepts through dialogue and questioning.

Monday 9 April: Robotics Easter Challenge 3

Our robotics day consolidates will introduce children to the role of different sensors in helping a robot to understand and move in its surroundings.

Tuesday 10 April: Easter Coding Camp 2

Building upon the coding session last week, children will consolidate what has been taught previously and will be challenged with a new range of problems and activities.

Wednesday 11th April: Fluid Mechanics

Fluids are materials that have the ability to flow or move. In other words, air and liquids are fluids. Fluids have a wide range of applications and your child will uncover what they are and why.

Thursday 12 April: Real World Maths

We use mathematics as part of our everyday life, sometimes, without being aware. After this session, your child will gain an appreciation of how and why we use mathematics every day.

Friday 13 April: Up, Up and Away!

This session integrates different concepts from physics and engineering as children learn about flight and aerodynamics.
