Product Description

The emphasis is on fun, yet we inspire learning about concepts through dialogue and questioning.

Monday 18 December: Cold as Ice
Cold as ice introduces children to experiments that release heat and, therefore, decrease in temperature. Children will participate in a wide range of ‘frosty’ experiments.

Tuesday 19 December: Our House
We will introduce children to the science behind house design and construction. They will learn that a good house must be weatherproof and must insulate well against the elements.

Wednesday 20 December: The Science of Shapes
We apply some mathematics in this session as children discover the importance of shapes in science, along with their unique properties. Children will learn about the formation of snowflakes and much more.

Thursday 21 December: Christmas Challenge
Using winter and Christmas as our theme, children will be participating in experiments and activities related to chemistry and physics.

Friday 22 December: Happy STEMas!
This session will draw on many different aspects of science as children will be a set a number of different tasks to complete either individually or as a team.

The car park is open year round (except 24 and 25 December). Parking is free for National Trust members or £4 per car for non-members. Disabled parking spaces are available and marked. The car park is 60 yards from the main entrance to the house. Knole can get very busy and at times we may need to close the car park. There is alternative Pay and Display parking in Sevenoaks town centre and a walking route through the park to reach the house.

We offer 10% discount on siblings booking.
Any days booked individually will be charged at £50.00 per child.
