Product Description

The emphasis is on fun, yet we inspire learning about concepts through dialogue and questioning.

Monday 16 December: Winter Wonderland

Our first day of the Christmas science camp commences with a day of snow, ice and frost. Children will learn about the special properties of ice and water. Also, children will take part in experiments that assess why it is difficult for cars to stop on ice and other treacherous conditions.

Tuesday 17 December: Survival

Survival teaches children how plants and animals survive extreme weather conditions. This session will cover habitats, ecology, hibernation, adaptations and more. Children participate in experiments such as constructing a house most suitable for a desert environment.

Wednesday 18 December: Over the Hills and Far Away

In this geoscience-themed day, children will learn about the various landforms that make up planet Earth. Children will learn about the hills, mountains, volcanoes and valleys as they model and recreate their formation.

Thursday 19 December: Pharmaceutical Science

Using pharmacy as our theme, children will become pharmacists for the day as they learn about how drugs work, how they bind to receptors and how medication is dispensed. Please be aware that children will use model drugs and not real ones.

Friday 20 December: Save Santa!

Save Santa! Utilises a variety of different science concepts to encourage children to work as a team and rescue Christmas. Your child will be tasked with building the fastest sleigh, making the warmest gloves for Santa and much more.

We offer 10% siblings discount (from your second child onwards).

Individual sessions are charged at a flat rate of £85 per child/per day.
