Monday 26 October: Seasonal Science
Our opening day of the camp looks at Autumn and the change in season. Notably, children will learn about crystallisation, the different colours in a leaf, the process of fermentation and more. Your child will grow their own crystal pine cone, build a bird’s nest amongst other exciting activities.
Tuesday 27 October: Spooky Chemicals
Spooky science will cover a wide range of experiments covering different chemical reactions. Children will make their own witch’s potion, lava lamp, bubble snakes and more. Your child will learn about fluorescence, neutralisation and exothermic reactions.
Wednesday 28 October: Frankenstein Science
In Frankenstein science, your child will learn about the role of the heart and nervous system in keeping people alive. Children will learn about the science behind mummification. Activities for today include a heart dissection, mummifying an apple and making Frankenstein slime!
Thursday 29 October: It’s Electrifying!
In this session, your child will be investigating the properties of electricity as they take part in a variety of experiments such as building an electric circuit, making a fruit battery, making magnetic slime and more. Your child will learn about current, voltage, resistance and magnetism.
Friday 30 October: Terrifying Science
Our final day of the October half-term camp looks into some of our favourite experiments from biology, chemistry and physics. Children will make fake poo as they learn about digestion, witness dry ice experiments, make bats fly and more. Children are invited to wear a Halloween costume on this final day.

Individual sessions are charged at a flat rate of £90 per child/per day.
