Tuesday 29 May: Medical Innovations
Our opening session examines the contributions of scientists from the past in the field of medicine. Children will also learn about the future of medicine and will be challenged with building their own medical instrument for use in the future.
Wednesday 30 May: Archaic Archaeology
Archaeology is the study of how humans lived in the past. Children will learn about how science has aided the recovery of objects from many years ago and will take part in a variety of different activities that real life archaeologists perform.
Thursday 31 May: Brilliant Botany
Children will learn about the power of plants in this session. Children will cover a wide range of topics such as seed dispersal, plant anatomy and the different chemical properties of plants.
Friday 1 June: Olympic Science
We cover a variety of different scientific disciplines in this sports-themed day. Children will learn, and participate in different activities, related to anatomy, physiology and biomechanics.
