About this camp: This face-to-face camp has been designed for children to enjoy, have fun and learn. We also stimulate children to be creative. We teach children to learn how to identify a problem and look for a solution. We also foster the development of resilience. Sometimes, some children tend to give up easily. We teach children that they need to try for alternate solutions to a given problem.

Our face-to-face summer camp is small to enable tutors and children greater scope for interaction, dialogue, questions and answers. We motivate children to develop their coding (python) and Arduino C++ skills while having fun.

What we teach: Learn and consolidate fundamental principles of Python as a coding language. Learn how to write simple Python programs. Understand how programs work and what code does. Work on practical activities such as building their own applications and building a chatbot. Develop problem-solving skills, teamwork and resilience. Working with microprocessors, learning how to code in a practical manner.

Topics include: What is Python? Using Turtle, The Microbit, Mechatronics, Microcontrollers, PyGame, Connect 4, Seven Segment Display, Cryptography, Basic Website Design, Noughts and Crosses, Guessing Games, Fundamentals of Python, Sensors, Create a Quiz, The Microbit.

Differentiation: At Richer Education, we understand that ‘one size does not fit all‘. Therefore, our tutors and mentors differentiate the content of our sessions. We ensure that all children, regardless of their level of knowledge, are engaged at the appropriate level and pace.

Alternative camps: Virtual Coding (Python), Virtual Debating & Public Speaking camp, Virtual Psychology camp, Leadership & Management camp or All summer camps.

We offer 10% siblings discount (from your second child onwards).
