This session will cover areas of chemistry such as filtration, diffusion and sublimation. Children will get hands-on with a series of brand new, and engaging experiments.

Oceanography is the study of phenomena and properties of seas. Children will participate in a range of activities that examine the role of marine creatures, sand, seawater and more.

We travel to the heart of the matter in today’s session as children learn about the structure and function of the heart, along with other heart-themed activities.

Thursday 21 February: Classical Science

We travel back in time in today’s session as we learn and discover how ancient civilisations used and understood science in their day-to-day lives. We will use examples from Ancient Egypt and Rome.

Friday 22 February: It’s Not Rocket Science!

Our final session launches in…3,2,1…blast off. The aim of this session is to teach children about the physics behind the construction and motion of rockets and other space vehicles.
