The emphasis is on fun, yet we inspire learning about concepts through dialogue and questioning.
We will be offering brand new programmes for each week in summer.
***PLEASE NOTE THAT TOPICS AND/OR THE ORDER OF THE TOPICS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE***
Monday 1 July: Coastal Engineering
Coastal engineering incorporates strategies to protect coastlines and islands. In this session, your child will learn about the design and construction of levees, dams, boulder barriers and more. Children will replicate models of these protective measures whilst working within a budget.
Tuesday 2 July: Rocket Engineering
Rockets enable vehicles to fly faster, higher and further than before. In this session, your child will learn about the design and construction of rockets. Children will build water-powered rockets, air-powered rockets and rocket cars.
Wednesday 3 July: Mechanical Motors
Motors convert electrical energy into mechanical energy. In this session, we will explore the engineering concepts behind motors such as electromagnetism as children construct model motors and objects powered by motors.
Thursday 4 July: Hydrological Engineering
Hydrological engineering is concerned with the flow of storage of water. In this session, children will reinforce what the water cycle is and will progress to methods water is transported such as pumps and aqueducts.
Friday 5 July: Foundations
Good foundations are essential to construct buildings, bridges and more. In this session, your child will investigate the different soil types, underground structures and more by participating in a variety of different experiments.
We offer 10% discount on siblings booking and multiple bookings.
Any days booked individually will be charged at £90.00 per child.
