The emphasis is on fun, yet we inspire learning about concepts through dialogue and questioning.
We will be offering brand new programmes for each week in summer.
***PLEASE NOTE THAT TOPICS AND/OR THE ORDER OF THE TOPICS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE***
Monday 12 August: Atoms, Elements and Compounds
In this chemistry-based session, children will learn about atomic structure, periodic table and compounds. Children will complete a range of different experiments looking at reactivity, chemical bonds and more.
Tuesday 13 August: At the Heart of the Matter
At the heart of the matter explores the anatomy and physiology of the heart. Children will learn about the role of valves, the chambers of the heart and the electrical conductivity of the heart. Your child will dissect a heart and build a model heart.
Wednesday 14 August: Thermodynamics
Thermodynamics is an area of science which concerns heat and its relationship with other energy forms. In this session, children will make their own thermometer, investigate the best insulator and more.
Thursday 15 August: Animal Behaviour
Animal behaviour investigates a broad range of scientific concepts such as reaction time, optical illusions and responses to different stimuli. Children will learn about the importance of the brain and nervous system.
Friday 16 August: Alloys and Metals
Alloys are a combination of metals or a metal and non-metal. In this session, children will create model alloys, investigate the density of different metals along with other physical properties such as thermal and electrical conductivity.
We offer 10% discount on siblings booking and multiple bookings.
Any days booked individually will be charged at £90.00 per child.
